We are here for ABA couples national bass fishing championship. This is our second visit here and love it very much. We travel with our dogs and the cabins offer us and our pets much more space and comfort over a hotel experience...lots of beautiful walking paths. Very clean and well maintained!
Had breakfast at the Water's Edge restaurant. I was okay. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with a wide variety of items. The price was good. The view was wonderful.
Very nice restaurant with delicious, quality food! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick. Food was hot and big portions... Shared the seafood platter and a bowl of gumbo with my husband and we both were full and happy :)
The food was great. I highly recommend it. only thing I would change is the tables way too close together on the patio. And the feeling of being rushed by the manger working the area. Also I didn't care for how she was treating the servers working under her. The rating I have is for the server and the food would of been full stars but because of the manager it is less. it was thanksgiving and she just not only ruined the atmosphere but prob ruined it for the one lady I saw helping. it was a lot of people where my family was seated and needed more help.
My family has been vacationing at Lakepoint Resort since the early 90's and we love it. We love the area (it's beautiful) and there's so much to do! We will continue to come back.
