I was there on a Saturday morning and no one in the waiting area I guess that's a good thing. Its a small town compare to Columbus ga. I had a bad reaction to prison ivy on my face and they took me right away no more then ten minutes I had a IV in my arm. They took good care of me. I was there for about one hour. And there were always checking up on how I'm feeling and they paid good attention at my situation. The hospital was about 30 minutes away from my home but it was well worth it. It would have taken me about the same time to go to Columbus ga. I'm glad I made the right choice to go here.

Nurses Sandy and Tracy exhibit perhaps the most belligerent and ghetto representation of horrible service. My mother was brought in to the ER while visiting Eufala. Not only was I rudely spoken to when I called to check my mom's status, but I was refused information, yet information was freely given to cousins who brought her to the ER. These nurses refused to accept verification of relation from me. There was no empathy for the family considering circumstances of the immediate family living miles away.

I can not say enough good things about the ER at Medical Center Barbour! My husband and I were passing through Eufaula on our way to Grayton Beach, Fl in our RV. I had a mishap while going to the back of the camper while in motion, which caused me to cut my leg wide open. With the assistance from a local Internal Medicine Facillty and EMT's, I was taken to Medical Center Barbour. I was terrified and had no idea what was going to happen. We were welcome by several staff members when we arrived. I was taken straight to a room where Dr. Tony Gabrielson imediatly came in and introduced himself along with several very kind nurses. They were able to settle me down and feel peace right away. Claudia the nurse was an angel as well. Thank you to these fine nurses and Doctor for a job well done! You will never know how much you all meant to me!

The head nurse has no idea what she is doing. Trying to make arrangements to have my mother transferred to Emory Hospital and instead of assisting my brother and myself. She decides to let the attending physician to do this. They obviously have no idea what in the hell they are suppose to do. Very frustrating as this is a critical situation.

Horrific! The er staff rude rough handling talked to me very ugly. Never have I felt so uncomfortable and mistreated in my life. Not all staff but most was very unprofessional with there job. Light red head walked out said she breathing she fine walked back behind door didn't even check on me. as I had just passed out then followed with vomiting and seizure like activity.Worse experience ever. One lady long Brown hair name Tammy was the most professional nicest one there.will never use this hospital again
